Go ahead with your idea, its a great one. Just make sure that everybody understands they are YOUR work, and place the traditional © (Copyright) logo at the bottom of all your articles, although you are still fully protected by international copyrights laws, even if its not there.

On top of your improved link popularity and boosted PR value to your site, you will also benefit from an increase in traffic. I know it works for me, so it should for you too.
