Question -- Serge, Thank you for a superb letter, it is appreciated. Is the overall inner linking strategy in my site critical? If I just have a few links going back to my homepage and a few inner links here and there will that be sufficient? My site has about 90 pages in total. Thank you.

Answer -- I'm happy if our newsletter is helpful to you. If you have 90 pages I'm sure you can start inner linking your pages a lot more than that. The good news is that Google or any other search engine will NEVER penalize your site for too many inner links! It's one of the few places in SEO where more is better.

Have you ever noticed the large number of inner links just in 'this' newsletter? There's a reason for it... Go to Google and type the keywords SEO newsletter and you will note that this publication comes out at around Number Four or Five on the first results page, and with millions of other competing websites! Now you know... ;-)
