They may take you a minute or two to write, but they are well worth it. Also, remember that in older rural communities, especially in some parts of Europe or Asia, there are still a good percentage of Internet users with older dial-up phone modem connections. To speed up the loading of their Web pages, some actually disable their images in their browsers. If that's the case, at least they will be able to read (or hear it in their speakers if their hearing is impaired) some text or some keywords with a simple mouse over. Take the time and do it. Serge -- My site is finally gaining some traction in Yahoo and MSN Live, but still lacks a lot of visibility in Google. It's been available for about three months and it's only since about two weeks that I've been noticing the improvements. My question is what do you think would be the ideal word count on a typical page and could it be the reason why Google can't / won't rank me before the fifth page of the SERPs? Thank you Serge.
