It's actually a thread that was started about a month ago but that I didn't cover in this segment and that has a lot of people in the industry puzzled! SEM Woman says (and I've also noticed it too) that around October 17, Google reverted back to its pre-September 21 PR values, which means that if your site gained one 'PR' point in October, now it may have lost it again and vice-versa. Personally, this isn't the first time I see some instability in the Google PR toolbar and it usually tells me that a large index update is emminent. Remember that, if history repeats itself, Google almost always makes a large update of its whole index a few days prior to Thanksgiving. Well, we're almost there... The forum thread is interesting as many members join in to give their version and/or their observations of the facts from different data centers in different parts of the world.
