After that, you need to completely remove all that duplicate content from your second site and place a 301 redirect command from your second domain (the one that had the dup. content) and point it to your main (older) website. Do that now before it may be too late! Once a penalty or ban is in effect, you will lose valuable traffic to your site. Can you really afford to lose that? If the answer is no, then do it today. Question -- Thank you Serge for a great newsletter, I truly love it. Just a quick one here: If I move my site from one server to another, will it affect the PR 7 I have on my site? It took me 4 years to be at the 7 level, I would hate to lose it. Thanks!

Answer -- No it won't. IP addresses are all the same with the search engines. When Google attributes a certain PR to a site, its to the domain name it attributes it to, not the IP address or server. When you change hosts, of course the physical location of the server and its IP address changes, but your domain still is the same. You can switch hosts as much and as often as you like. I've never seen a client being adversely affected by switching his site from one server to another.
