Overall, the new Yahoo Talent Show contest is an eight-week online video quizz dedicated in discovering the most original talent on the Internet. Starting Monday, an open call invites all users to send in their submissions by uploading certain video clips of themselves, in an effort at demonstrating their best talents. Additionally, a skill-based competition in which participants will compete to be selected as the next Yahoo online celebrity talent will also be integrated to the contest.

The winning entry will be awarded US $50,000 in cash, plus a development deal to star in or produce their own online show on Yahoo. What's more, the Yahoo Talent Show is a nationwide search to find the next great Internet celebrity. Residents of the 50 United States & District of Columbia who are over the age of 18 can participate.
