(Continued) The RFS Newsletter, Oct. 22, 2005. Page 11 Question -- Hi Serge, thank you for a very helpful newsletter. Let me give you a brief rundown. I use an accounting software of the hosted variety because we can download orders directly into it from our website. Unfortunately, it will only allow up to 2000 products and a maximum of 30 pages per website. Since our company has grown so quickly within a year and since we have doubled in the number of products offered, I ran out of space on our website and had to pay for a 2nd website through the same service. So I bought another domain name for the 2nd website and basically duplicated the home page on the 2nd site to resemble the home page on the 1st site, so that customers wouldn't notice the transition. I also purchased two additional domains to use as 2nd level domains on our main website because they are more "keyword" enriched and one is in a plural form. So my concerns are as follows: Will I be penalized by search engines for using a duplicate home page on the 2nd site? Will I be penalized for using a 2nd level domain?
