Page 13 Lately, we had clients that needed to get one-way links, so we've purchased a lot of links from sites and after Google updated its PR database, all of these sites gained nicely, not just in their PR ratings, but also in their overall search rankings in the results pages. As to your second question, there is no such thing as leasing a link just for one day. To be effective, all one-way links must be pointed at your site for at least 3 to 6 months at a bare minimum. Just look at the latest Google PR update: it took them more than four months to do it. Do you think a one-day or one-week link would have done anything to a site? No. Also, even if you would have a link pointing to your site for six months, once you remove it later, you will loose the benefit and the 'pass through' of that PR.
