We will offer to market an owner’s vacation rental property for a fee. We will take listings from anywhere in the world. We are also thinking we should also have other sites that focus just on the popular vacation destinations so we can load those sites up with different keywords to hopefully get on the front pages of more keyword searches and more search engines.

If we do chop up our big site and make a smaller version just for say Florida or Colorado and leave in all the same policies, homepages, content etc., would that be considered a duplicate site? Could that get us in trouble with the search engines? If so, any ideas on how we could achieve our goal and still play by the “rules”? Thank you.
