However, I'm hesitant on doing all of that for obvious reasons, apart from the fact that it's a LOT of work... We wish to keep our domain of course, it's about eight years old now, but what if the new 'refurbished' site drops in its rankings afterwards? What if Google dosen't think our site is an authority site anymore?

As you can see, I have more questions than answers at this time, and the whole idea is making me more and more nervous, considering that my site accounts for about 30 percent of my annual income, and continues to grow at a higher percentage year after year. What do you think I should do Serge? Thanks a million for reading me.
