Remember that Google is a lot more 'sensitive' than Yahoo or MSN is, at least for the time being. Apart from the obvious reasons (you have more competition, more sites competing directly against your site, etc.) here's a checklist of some of the things you should verify:

1) Your keyword density
2) Keyword research using Wordtracker
3) Number of links pointing to your site
4) Your site's overall linking strategy
5) Your title tags and header tags

Of course, this is just a start. There are a lot more things you could check and verify that could have an impact on your site but these are the first items I would check.
