Answer -- That's a very good question. There used to be a time (about 4 or 5 years ago) when Google and even Yahoo helped you stand out from the croud by using dashes to seperate keywords in a domain, but now those days are gone! In fact, there are some people that work at Google that will tell you dashes can even impair your chances at good and consistent rankings in the SERPs.

Apart from the fact that they don't look so good either, Google, and to a lesser extent, Yahoo may have a point here. Dashed domains are rapidly dropping in popularity and personally, if you are contemplating the registration of a new domain, go with one without dashes in it! Hope that helps.
