You may have had this question before but if you did, I can't seem to find your answer, so here's my question: does it really matter to Google if my site is hosted on a unique (read single) IP address or if it dosen't matter if the IP address is common to hundreds of other websites? Thank you for reading me.

Answer -- I'm happy if you enjoy our publication! You're right, I've had that question a number of times, and the answer is that it dosen't matter at all. First, Google (and also Yahoo, MSN and the others) work with domain names, not IP addresses.
