Comparison shopping search engines can be looked at as online shopping malls, except they have a very important feature that traditional "brick and mortar" don't usually have: search functionality. This is what makes them truly unique. Please click here to read the article.
Google changes the world in which we... workWhen we say that search engines and the Internet transform our lives, it's still true as ever... The story you're about to read clearly demonstrates that fact! For most people, the concept of a Google search as a person's previous or permanent employment record continues to stir up a lot of interest. Whether it's people worrying that they can be found or government workers using it as a tool, the topic creates a lot of controversy and debate. The judges said that the official's Google search didn't constitute ex-parte communication, since it wasn't a communication between parties. Read more... My take on all of this Google today is a lot more than a search engine, we all know that. When someone tells you: "I Googled this or that person and here's what I came up with" you can take that person seriously. It happens everyday. Now the government, employers and even the courts have access to Google just as well as you and me. Yes, there is no doubt: Google does change the way we live, and work... Well, that's it for this week. Have a pleasant and relaxing weekend, I will see you all next Saturday!
