Question -- Serge, I just had a meeting with an SEO and he started talking to me about IP-lookup software to increase your rankings in the search engines. It's the first time I hear about this. What is it and can it really help me?

Answer -- IP-lookup software is bad news! It's one of the best known techniques on how to cloak a search engine. Cloaking is nothing less than spamdexing or spamming a search engine and if Google or Yahoo catch you doing this, they will ban or severely penalize your site! Don't do it, unless you want to start all over again! It ain't worth it.
