Answer -- Thank you for contacting us. There is a very simple way to verify if in fact it is a 301 or a 302 by simply checking your raw server log files. Look at the beginning of your log files where it says HTTP GET or something similar to that. If you see the number 301 right after the GET command (or very close to it) then you will know that is IS in fact a 301. If you see a 302 number instead, then that's what it is and you will have to ensure that it is changed to a 301 ASAP to prevent some of the negative things I wrote about 302s. If on the other hand you see a 200 number, then it means there is simply no redirect command on your URL at all.

Serge – Thanks so much for your quick response. I don’t have another question actually. But after I wrote you I found a site that lets you see the header data for the redirected domains. At that site, you can enter your domain URL and it returns the headers. In our case it returned:
