Since they made their last update about 20 days ago, I feel that MSN is getting at least as relevant as Google is, and sometimes a bit more. Of course, it all depends on the industry or market segment you are looking at. For example, after getting your email on Tuesday, I went to MSN and spent about an hour there searching for about 200 keywords and search terms to see what would come up. I was actually amazed at how good it came with results pages that, for the most part, delivered about 6.5 times out of 10. That's an average of about 65 percent. Not bad if your site happens to be in that 65 percent of the results pages. Can MSN deliver real and serious traffic to a site? Based on the testing I've done Tuesday and based on the overall rankings of about 3,500 of the sites we've optimized in the last few years, I would yes.
