I know that using 'htaccess' I can redirect a lot of pages and eventually those pages would perform well but would this be worth the short-term loss of rankings? Our main content changes basically consist of adding new product pages and news articles. What would be the best to do all of this Serge?

Answer -- Hi there. That's a great question. I've recently been working on a similar problem by converting a client's site from HTML to PHP.

But first, lets clear a bit here. When a search engine makes a 'GET' request to your server, it does it in the very same way as an Internet browser does.
