Here are important elements and/or facts that will have a direct impact on the overall time it will take you to optimize a website:

1) Your general knowledge in the functioning of search engines
2) Your understanding of SEO and as it relates to site design
3) Your linking strategy used
4) Is the site made with just static HTML or is it database-driven?
5) Will you create a site map for all 32 pages? (recommended)
6) Plus a lot more variables and specific details to your site only...

Numbers 1 and 2 are self-explanetory. Number 3, depending on the way you link all your pages together, it may or may not increase the time it will take you. It all depends how you go about it. Obviously, number 4 will mean a big difference. A site in pure HTML is usually the fastest and easiest to optimize. But one that is dynamic or database-driven usually takes longer and represents a lot more road blocks and challenges from an SEO point of view.
