For those that don't know "La Toile du Québec" (english translation: Quebec's Web) it is a very popular bilingual search engine mainly used in the province of Quebec and by a few users in Belgium, France and a few other French-language countries located in certain parts of Africa, etc. Even before the launch of Google in 1998, la "Toile du Québec" was extremely popular and accounted for a good percentage of all the Internet traffic here in Quebec. Located at www.toile.com it is now powered by Google itself. Users can still search it locally using la Toile's original database.
