Question -- Serge thank you for a superb resource to help us move our sites higher. My question has to do with DMOZ. Is it still worth it to be listed in that directory? That is of course provided you can ever get listed in it in the first place! I've heard it can take up to six months to have your site listed in it. Is this true? Thanks.

Answer -- Thank you for the kudos. Yes, it is true, although six months is probably on the high-end of the scale! And yes, it is still worth it to be listed in DMOZ (or the Open Directory Project). Why is it so important? Because Google still relies on it for the core of its directory, that's why. So if your site is listed in DMOZ that will help you in Google and also MSN and Yahoo.
