Page 10 Only two of the sites with little content actually moved up a small notch, but you could barely see a difference, since they both went from the 29th spot on the third page of Google to the 23rd spot (still on the third results page however). As most people know, very few Internet searchers (less than 10%) ever go down to the third results page, so this is why I say it didn't make a real difference. So yes, content is STILL king and makes a real big difference, not just in Google but also in Yahoo and MSN. As to your second-part question, yes I sure continue to believe that good, quality links pointing to your site can and will help your search rankings by a large measure. The best method to achieve this is still with link leasing or buying links from other sites as opposed to participating in a link exchange program. Remember that when you pay every month to get links to your site, issuing webmasters or site owners realize that if they remove them from their sites, the payments will stop.
