Question -- Serge, thank you for a splendid newsletter. Just a quick question: how many times a month (or a quarter) does Yahoo update its index? Do they do it more often than Google? Thank you.

Answer -- That's a very good question and happens to be a topic that is often discussed in our forum.

I'm sure if there are people working at Yahoo reading this newsletter every week (and I know there are many) they would be in a better position than me to answer you with a more accurate answer.

However, my guess would be that Yahoo updates its full index about once a month, which is more often than Google. Again, I can't guarantee this but it's my guess. Somebody at Yahoo, please email me on this and I will post your reply in this newsletter next Saturday. Thanks.
