Answer -- Hello and I’m pleased to know you enjoy our newsletter. Yes, you are in fact taking a big chance that Google or another search engine could impose a penalty for duplicate content on your other (or worse, your main) site. Instead of risking that, you should create unique and individual pages on your current (large) website.

The correct way of doing this would be like this: In the root of your domain name, create a new folder called Florida. In that folder, you would place a new file called for example florida.html and in that file, make sure you have a lot of unique and relevant content about the state of Florida.

What I like to do in a situation like this is to create some helpful pages on for example tourist attractions in Florida, restaurants, what to see in Miami, things to do, etc. Do the same for Colorado or any other state you wish to promote. Hope that helps.
