Question -- Serge, what's the best way to optimize a dynamic website? I know it's more complicated than an ordinary HTML site but after all, it can't be "rocket science" right?

Answer -- You're right: it isn't rocket science, but it is still very different than a site done with HTML code only. A dynamic website is one that is database-driven, which simply means that all Web pages are created dynamically by the database residing on the Web server. Since they are created dynamically or "on the fly" as some say, they don't have static URLs that search engines can index when compared to static HTML pages. That is the source of all the problems when optimizing dynamic sites.

However, it dosen't mean it ends there, on the contrary. Even though any competent and experienced SEO will agree with me that optimizing a database-driven site is more challenging it is still possible to have it rank high in the major search engines. You just need to know how to do it the correct way.
