However, after speaking to two different SEOs they both told me the site wasn't ever optimized and is the reason why it won't rank anywhere. First, I don't like the look and feel of the site and wish it would offer a more professional look. Am I better off scrapping it and starting a new one all over? And what about my domain name? Thanks. Answer -- Yes you are. If you'd like it, I would say no and you would just have to concentrate on the SEO part of the site. But if it dosen't present a professional look and feel and if you feel it needs a redesign, then go ahead and do it. Make sure that whoever will be in charge of the redesign, he or she has a full knowledge of the right SEO techniques that are sanctioned by today's major search engines. As for your domain name, if it has one or two of your keywords in it, I strongly suggest you keep it.
