However, if I would have known it would affect my search rankings I would have left it where it was and we would have worked around the problem and stayed with our Linux server that ran just fine, thank you very much! What gives Serge? Did you ever see that? Before we did anything my site was on the first page of Google for 8 of my most important keywords!

Now I'm between page 4 and 5. I'm really angry at my Web designer especially after I've learned if he had used PHP scripts we wouldn't had to switch operating systems. I didn't know a server's operating platform could affect search rankings on a Web site! Is this possible or am I going nuts? Thank you Serge.

Answer -- I'm delighted if you find our newsletter helpful. I think you're confusing two issues here: the server OS (Operating System) hosting any given site has absolutely NO effect in the search rankings whatsover! Whoever told you that either dosen't know much about SEO or led you to a wrong path!
