Question -- Serge, how often does Google perform its updates nowadays?

Answer -- These days, Google updates its main database between one to two times a month. Some updates are much larger than others but this is about it. You can see that one has been done when you check your keywords regularly and that you see old sites drop and that are being replaced by new ones.

Make sure you don't confuse a database update with a PR update. Those are two entirely different things. In the case of PR updates, those are generally being done only once about every 5 to 6 months and are a major irritant to some people.
