If you don't want too much text on your homepage, then write some content-rich, relevant text with your most important keywords in it. But remember that lots of text on a homepage is always a good idea, especially if it is highly relevant. One word of caution however. If your business is highly competitive and that you have more than 3,000,000 sites competing against you for the same keywords, don't waste your time: abandon your current framed site entirely and build a new one from the ground up, this time WITHOUT frames, of course!

Framed sites always present challenges as far as SEO is concerned and happens to be the sole reason why almost nobody uses them anymore. They are very old technology (circa 1995). Good luck.
