Whatever happens, it's always better to have your site listed in it than not. So, unless they remove it completely, I would still try to 'squeeze myself' in it if I could. After all, it IS a free directory and, there used to be a time not that long ago that Google relied almost entirely on DMOZ as its very own directory of the Web. This meant that if you were listed in the ODP, you had a better chance at improved rankings in Google.

Nowadays, I'm not so sure the ODP has that large an impact as it used too. Nevertheless, try to get in it if you can. Good luck with your site, and let me know when you're finally 'DMOZ'ed...
