Our forum thread of the week goes to member SEO Practioner of Search Engine Positioning. He started a lively thread when on Tuesday he stated that many (if not most) of his client's sites he had optimized in the latter months of 2005 had experienced twice the normal daily traffic to their sites.

All that in less than 48 hours. Other members said it is premature to think that (at least on Jan. 31) Google had finished a nice update over the weekend, when in fact as late as Thursday evening (Feb. 2) Google hadn't even finished its huge Big Daddy update that it started last Saturday!
