Answer -- Hey all the best to you too! Yes, the vacation was great, but just a bit too short, nevertheless! That's a good question. On the outset, yes I still much prefer a permanent 301 redirect than a 302. I think I know which SEO you are referring too in this case.

I understand that person's reasoning as far as Google's domain aging process is concerned and partly agree with it, since it is a real problem. For those of you that don't know, that SEO recommends placing a 302 (a temporary redirect command) to a new site, and after the site has 'aged' (say about 9 months or so) the SEO recommends placing a 301 (a permanent redirect) to the new site.
